From March 30 to April 1, EGYPES—a highly influential energy industry event in the Africa and Middle East regions—grandly opened at the Cairo International Exhibition Center. WTAU made a prominent appearance, showcasing its specialized intelligent lifting safety solutions tailored for offshore engineering and oil and gas development. Focusing on safety protection under extreme operating conditions within energy environments, as well as intelligent equipment operation, maintenance, and digital management, WTAU joined partners from the global energy sector to explore new opportunities for regional energy transition and industrial upgrading.

At this exhibition, WTAU prominently showcased its core product lineup tailored for the energy sector, including an intelligent safety monitoring and management system for cranes, an online non-destructive testing system for steel wire ropes, and anchor winch weighing systems. These technologies have been widely deployed across more than 70 countries globally—spanning applications in hydropower, ports, metallurgy, and offshore platforms—enabling comprehensive lifecycle safety management, fault early warning, and digitized operations and maintenance for lifting equipment within energy projects. By doing so, they effectively address critical pain points in energy infrastructure, such as ensuring the operational safety of heavy machinery, enhancing efficiency, and optimizing cost control.

Located at Booth 1F33, the WTAU exhibit attracted numerous international energy groups, engineering contractors, and equipment service providers, who stopped by to engage in discussions. The team from WTAU’s International Division held in-depth exchanges with visiting clients regarding crane safety standards for energy projects in the Middle East and North Africa region, as well as topics such as localized services and customized development. These interactions resulted in the establishment of several preliminary cooperation agreements, laying a solid foundation for further expansion into the regional market.

Egypt, along with the broader African and Middle Eastern regions, is currently undergoing a critical phase of energy transition and infrastructure expansion. Consequently, the demand for safe, intelligent, and efficient heavy lifting equipment—across sectors such as oil and gas development, new energy construction, and port logistics—continues to rise. At the exhibition, WTAU’s intelligent monitoring devices and digital operation and maintenance platforms attracted numerous professional visitors, who stopped to make inquiries and engage in in-depth discussions regarding technical compatibility, project implementation, and potential cooperation models.

EGYPES serves as a vital platform for expanding into the African market, with North Africa and the Middle East constituting a core global energy hub. WTAU’s participation in this exhibition marks a pivotal step in deepening our strategic presence in North Africa and championing "Intelligent Manufacturing in China" to support global energy infrastructure development. We remain committed to intensive engagement within the energy sector, providing safer, smarter, and more efficient lifting safety solutions for energy infrastructure projects across Africa and worldwide.
