Weite gantry crane anti-collision system helps a hydropower station in Sichuan to operate safely

Recently, the anti-collision system and underwater camera of the micro-gantry crane have been successfully applied to a hydropower station in Sichuan, effectively ensuring the safety of the hydropower station operation.

The anti-collision system of the Weite gantry crane can achieve 360-degree monitoring without blind spots. Once the risk of collision is detected, it will immediately issue an audible and visual alarm to avoid lifting accidents at the source; the micro-underwater camera has high-definition imaging, stable communication, and waterproof and pressure-resistant performance. After being installed in the key underwater area of the power station, the operator can grasp the operation of underwater equipment, dam structure and fish migration in real time, providing intuitive data support for power station management.

During the project, there was heavy snow and strong winds, which delayed the construction period. Faced with the emergency, the Weite team quickly adjusted the construction plan and converted some outdoor operations to indoor equipment debugging. After the weather improved, the teams worked in groups and alternately, racing against time to catch up with the progress while ensuring the quality of the construction. Finally, the project was delivered on schedule and was recognized by the customer.
