Serving the "World's Best" | Weite assisted the construction of the Xihoumen Highway-Railway Bridge and successfully erected the first section of the steel beam

On May 27, a remarkable scene appeared at the construction site of the Xihoumen Highway-Railway Bridge on the Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway. The crane ship "Daqiao Haiou" of China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group was responsible for the operation, slowly lifting the 68-meter-wide segmental steel beam and accurately hoisting it to the designated location. The successful completion of this key action marked the successful erection of the first steel beam of the Xihoumen Highway-Railway Bridge, and also meant that the bridge officially moved from the foundation construction stage to the upper bridge deck construction stage.

Xihoumen Highway-Rail Bridge is a shared sea-crossing bridge for Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway and Ningbo-Zhoushan Expressway across the Xihoumen waterway. It connects Jintang Island and Cezi Island in Zhoushan and is a key control project for the entire line. It is 3,118 meters long and adopts a cable-stayed-cable cooperative system with a main span of 1,488 meters. After completion, it will become the world's largest span railway (highway-railway combined) bridge. At the same time, considering the relatively frequent typhoon impact in Zhoushan area, in order to reduce wind resistance, the bridge adopts a "highway-railway flat" design, and for the first time adopts a three-box separated main beam structure. The main beam is connected by three steel box beams. This structure makes the bridge deck width reach 68 meters, becoming the widest bridge deck in the world.

It is worth mentioning that the 3600T "Daqiao Haiou" crane ship, which undertook this arduous task, played a key role. The crane lmi system of the "Daqiao Haiou" crane ship is equipped with products from Weite Technology Co., Ltd. Just before the steel beam lifting, Weite technicians boarded the ship and carried out comprehensive maintenance and debugging of the torque system to ensure that the crane ship can operate stably and accurately in the critical steel beam lifting operation. It played an indispensable role in the construction of the Xihoumen Highway-Rail Bridge.
