  1. **Impact-Resistant and Corrosion-Proof:** Most competing products currently on the market utilize 1.2mm-thick 201-grade stainless steel housings, which are unable to withstand the impact of debris or the corrosive effects of prolonged underwater immersion. In contrast, WTAU’s grab-beam underwater shear pin sensors feature a robust 6mm-thick 304-grade stainless steel housing. Boasting high mechanical strength, these sensors are capable of enduring harsh environments—including strong water currents, high pressure, and high sediment loads—and can remain submerged underwater for extended periods without succumbing to corrosion.

  2.  **Minimal Cabling and Stable Communication:** Most comparable sensors currently available on the market rely on discrete (switch) outputs or 4–20mA analog signals.
